Worldpack launches its own range of in-store consumable products

Worldpack Originals

Worldpack has launched its own range of branded in-store consumable products based on its knowledge of those products most used by its customers. The range will be continually expanded but has launched today with a range of products including till & PDQ rolls, tagging guns, copy paper, natural pop socks, a hanger stand and the newest addition tissue paper.

The products are high quality and competitively priced. Marc Wullems, Head of Procurement at Worldpack, says: “We wanted to see if we could create our own high-quality solutions, so we looked at those in-store consumable products, also known as Goods Not For Resale (GNFR), that are always in demand by our customers. In doing this, we have also sourced some products that offer better specifications or are a more sustainable solution than what is currently on the market. For example, our Worldpack Originals till paper is Phenol free so offers better health benefits for cashiers, unlike a lot of other till rolls available that still have traces of this chemical. Long-term handling of this chemical –even in small amounts–can lead to several health conditions.”

Worldpack’s goal is to provide our customers with a comprehensive selection of practical and environmentally conscious products that make their lives easier – and better.

Marc adds: “We are also looking at the way we package these smaller items, so they are packed more environmentally friendly. For instance, instead of sending out one item in a lot of plastic packaging, we send our tagging guns in a plain box as a set of four. From an eco and a freight point of view, this is a much better solution for the customer.”

By ordering these generic items through Worldpack, customers can streamline their purchasing process, combine shipping with their branded items and reduce the administrative burden of dealing with multiple suppliers.
